About TPN Community

Registered users (“Members”) include people from all walks of life, not working and employed, professionals, entrepreneurs, as well as businesses and organizations with access and use of Company communications and / or its Services (which includes flagship and member services). Members that advertise products, services and information at Scoop and Share, website or aligned properties, member contact information may be viewable by the public, including name, skills, work history and experience.

What is a cookie?

To create an account you need to provide data including your name, email address and/or mobile number, and a password. If you register for a premium (“paid”) Service, you will need to provide payment (e.g., credit card) and billing information.

3. Advertisement Header

Advertisers of a business, product, service or information need our membership and a header for advertisement, which can include, a photo, product and service description, business contact information, individual name (not personal full name), skills, summary of related work history and other relevant information.

4. Other Information You give to us

Information you give to us, such as sharing connections or by registering for an event, or send general inquiries and direct contact request for information, partnership applications or proposal requests, and as you engage with us on our sites, digital and social media channels, such as: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. If you do not want certain information shared, do not request use of Services.

5. Posting and Uploading

We collect personal data from you when you provide, post or upload personal information to access our Services, such as when you fill out a form, respond to a survey, or submit information for a subscription or to be listed within our directories. If you opt to import your address book, we receive your contacts (including contact information your service provider(s) or app automatically added to your address book when you communicated with addresses or numbers not already in your list).

If you sync your contacts or calendars with our Services, we will collect your address book to help you engage our Services, including connections and flagship publication Scoop and Share content.

Others may comment about your post or write about you.

7. Content and News

You and others may post content that includes information about you (as part of articles, posts, comments, videos) on our Scoop and Share content other publications.

We offer opt-in push services for texts messages and opt-in email marketing that allows advertisements to be emailed and texted. If you do not opt-in, then you will not receive the notifications.

We will contact you through email, phone and other notices posted on our websites or apps and text messages or push notifications to provide the Services you select., including opt-in email newsletters and advertising or marketing push notifications. Without obligation, and to the extent that we may send service, security or legal notices, please be aware that you cannot opt-out of receiving "All" notifications.

16. Info to Sponsored Ad Providers

We do not share your personal data with any third-party "Sponsored" advertisers or ad networks for their advertising except for: (i) hashed or device identifiers (to the extent they are personal data in some countries); (ii) with your separate permission (e.g., lead generation form) or (iii) data already visible to any users of our Services (e.g. profile, ad header). However, if you view or click on an ad on or off our site or apps, the ad provider will get a signal that someone visited the page that displayed the ad, and they may through the use of mechanisms such as cookies determine it is you.

17. Marketing

We promote our Services to you and others. Our marketing activities including flagship Scoop and Share publications. For example, the Content at ScoopandShare.com including "Editorial Content" newsletters and push notifications are marketed to advertise and promote a business, product, service or information. Our advertising publications includes both no cost advertisements and paid "Sponsored" advertisements. Sponsored advertisements are clearly marked as such. We use data and content about Members and site visitors to invite and communication our Services and Content on our sites and related applications to increase community and network growth and engagement with our Services.

18. Developing Services and Research

We develop our Services and conduct research. We use data, including public feedback, for analysis to develop our Services for better, more intuitive and personalized experience, drive member community and network growth and engagement on our Services, and help businesses and people connect.

19. Surveys

Polls and surveys are conducted by us and others through our Services. You are not obligated to respond to polls or surveys, and you have choices about the information you provide.

20. Aggregate Insights

We use data to generate aggregate insights. We use your data to produce and share aggregated insights that do not identify you. For example we may use your data including inferences drawn from data about you such as your age or gender to generate statistics about our members, their profession or industry, to calculate ad impressions served or clicked on, or to publish visitor demographics for a Service or demographic member community insights.

21. Security and Investigations

We use data for security, fraud prevention and investigations. We use your data (including your communications) if we think it’s necessary for security purposes or to investigate possible fraud or other violations of our User Agreement or this Privacy Policy and/or attempts to harm our Members or Site Visitors.

22. How We Share Information

Any data that you include on your profile, ad header and any content you post or social action (e.g. likes, follows, comments, shares) you take on our Services will be seen by others.

We will share your information with affiliates and "Third-Party Service Providers" and Third-Party apps only as needed to provide Services you select.
We may need to share your data when we believe it’s required by law or to help protect the rights and safety of you, us or others.
We may share your data when our business is sold to others, but it must continue to be used in accordance with this Privacy Policy

23. Member Account Closure

Member accounts that you established for products, services, information or membership can be cancelled at anytime. Cancel here.

We may keep some of your data even after you close your account. We generally delete closed account information within 30 days of account closure, except as noted below.

We retain your personal data even after you have closed your account if reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including law enforcement requests), meet regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our User Agreement, or fulfill your request to “unsubscribe” from further messages from us.
Information you have shared with others in public view will remain visible after you closed your account or deleted the information from your own profile.
We do not control data or information that others copy from public facing information that you share, including your comments, posts, and ratings that you provide.
Your profile may continue to be displayed in the services of others (e.g., search engine results) until cache clears within their systems and platforms.

Our "Website, Service and Platform Providers" maintains software and implements safeguards designed to protect your data prevent security breaches. However, we cannot warrant the security of any information that you send us. There is no guarantee that data may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.
